$110,000.00 /Yr. - $120,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

Axos Bank is seeking an experienced, OutSystems Developer - Technical Lead, to join our software engineering team and enhance our client experience. As an OutSystems Tech Lead, you will design and implement scalable applications using the OutSystems low-code platform, aligning technical solutions with business objectives. This role involves architecting solutions, managing integrations, and leading a development team while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. You will mentor team members, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive the delivery of high-quality, secure, and performant applications. Collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is essential to meet organizational goals. Additionally, you will stay updated on OutSystems advancements to optimize its use within the enterprise. This position requires a strong technical background and effective leadership skills.

This position can be 100% remote (depending upon your location) or on-site at any of our locations, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Omaha.

Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applicationsLead one or more development teams in implementation of applicationsPerform code reviews to conform to the development best practicesDesign, develop and test outsystems applications using best practices and established coding standardsCoordinate and communicate with other tech teams and business analysts as neededAssess existing applications in performance architecture and design and refactor leveraging outsystems design patternsConduct root cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology for defect resolutionMaintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times and consistently interact professionally and productively with all levels of employeesBuild flexible data models and seamless integration pointsGuide junior members of the team in their day-to-day task

Requirements:

Key Skills: Outsystems, SQL, .Net, Javascript, CSS, HTML,REST API

5+ years' of experience developing web and mobile applications using outsystemsProficiency in the outsystems platform, including the use of Service Studio, Integration StudioProficiency in architecture patterns, solution design and high performing application developmentExtensive experience in designing and developing scalable, secure and high-performance Outsystems applicationsExtensive experience in developing screens, web blocks, timers, server/service actions, client actions, data actions etc. in outsystemsExtensive experience in customizing the UI of the screens based on the figma designs provided2+ years' experience working with web technologies like ASP .NET, C#, or Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and RESTful APIs2+ years' experience working on relational database language like SQL/Oracle and writing T-SQL queries.Outsystems architecture dashboard, discovery tool to validate application design and technical debtKnowledge of relational data modelling principles and experience building database objects using E-R modelling toolsAbility in building apps with responsive web design compatible with various devices, exposing and consuming SOAP and RESTful APIsAgile/scrum methodology of project deliveryTools such as Azure Boards, Jira, confluenceFamiliarity with outsystems lifetime, service centerAbility to work independently and proactively communicates status and risks to project leadership and possess strong problem-solving skills
