Job Title:          Oven Attendant – Bread Line 2

Shift:              NO (8:55pm – 5:00am)
(Starting and ending times may vary depending on production)
            
Pay Rate:         $21.57

Job Description:   
          The Oven Attendant will set the proofer, slitter, and topping dispenser to the predetermined specifications for each variety and monitor and adjust as necessary throughout the shift. He/She will be responsible for setting up all guides and conveyors related to the running of all the above-mentioned equipment. He/She will clean the proofer area and all related equipment between different bread varieties. The Oven Attendant will perform all allergen clean ups and quality checks in accordance with standard procedures. He/She will neatly and accurately fill out all necessary paperwork and turn it into the proper place. Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Functions: 
1)    Review pertinent information with the previous shift i.e. mechanical issues etc.
2)    Monitor proof and adjust to spec
3)    Setup and monitor the slitter 
4)    Setup and monitor the topping dispenser 
5)    Setup and monitor proofer and clear all jams
6)    Assist in the application of lids
7)    Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP – CTS)
8)    Maintain a safe neat and clean work area accordance with GMP and good housekeeping practices
9)    Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
10)    Follow all JSA guidelines
11)    May have to train on a different shift for the position.

Work Conditions:
1)    8-12 Hour shift. Will receive 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one half hour break. Overtime is required. 
2)    Environment – Noise levels will be minimal to moderate and temperature will vary. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing from wet and dry ingredients. 
3)    The temperature in the work environment can reach or exceed 100 degrees

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
