Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesMonitor engines/modules throughout each shop visit, ensuring TAT & labour hours are on targetProactively identify opportunities for labour-flexing across site, ensuring that production plans are always met whilst labour capacity is always fully utilisedDrive adherence to plan via Production Schedulers (direct reports)Use information provided by Site Data Analyst and Production Schedulers to optimise engine/module plans, minimising cost and TAT.Work closely with Repair Overhaul leader to ensure that repair and overhaul plans alignWork with wider planning team on short/long term business planning; labour and tooling capacityCoordinate engine updates for the customer teams, ensuring that they are kept up to date with the progress of their enginesSupport development of digital planning tools
Qualifications/RequirementsBachelors degree from an accredited university of college, or equivalent knowledge and experienceExperience of working in a manufacturing environmentProven analytical and organizational abilityEffective problem-solving skillsMust work well under pressure with the ability to make logical decisions in short timeframesProficient in Microsoft ExcelExperienced user of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)Knowledge of Lean principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal & leadership skillsWorks well with teams and individual at all levels of the business
