**2nd Shift Overhead Crane Operator** **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate various machines in our facility, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate a double hoist crane to move steel safely and efficiently. + Manage a blasting machine by monitoring the shot cleaning process and operating controls. + Use a saw to cut steel after completing necessary training. + Measure materials accurately using fractions and decimals for steel specifications. + Utilize a tape measure to ensure precise cuts. + Learn to load and unload parts using the crane. + Maintain cleanliness in the work area and assist other departments as needed. + Read and interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance with requirements. **Work Environment:** + **Shift:** 2nd Shift from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM. + Training will occur on 1st shift for 3-4 weeks, with accommodation for 3rd shift if needed. + Steel-toed shoes are approved for the first 30 days; after that, candidates must wear metatarsal boots.
