Allegro Winter Park is seeking an Overnight Courtesy Officer / Maintenance Assistant for our Senior Living Community Sunday and Thursday nights from 8PM - 8AM

Are you a night owl with excellent customer service skills? We are looking for an individual to serve as the first point of contact for our community while also maintaining a safe and secure environment.

What You’ll Do:

Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner. Monitor entry points, ensuring only authorized individuals have access. Respond to emergencies and assist law enforcement or medical personnel as needed. Answer phones, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately. Take out trash  Perform some Maintenance Duties to complete maintenance work orders as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to stay alert and responsive during overnight shifts. Basic office and computer skills (Microsoft Office knowledge preferred). Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. High school diploma or equivalent; prior maintenance or security experience is a plus.

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Director (MD) in maintaining and operating the physical aspects of the Property.

Areas of Responsibility

Assist the MD to ensure that the Community is always covered in the event of an emergency. Assist the MD in the preventative and routine maintenance programs to ensure that mechanical equipment, building structures and grounds are properly maintained. Assist the MD in the safe operation of all mechanical equipment through routine physical inspections. Assist MD to ensure that all maintenance work and storage areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and clean manner. Assist MD in maintaining online work order system, efficiently use the system and help delegate work orders to staff.  Follow OSHA and Company guidelines relating to lock down and tag out procedures that are approved for the Community and follow OSHA standards for safe working procedures.  Other duties assigned – see full job description.
