Job Description:

What You'll Do

Respond to emergency situations providing clear, calm, and decisive direction while providing medical care to the appropriate level of training/certification as neededManage access control; verify that vendors, contractors, and other visitors have a business purpose to be on siteProtect company property, corporate assets and the welfare and safety of employees, visitors and vendors while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer serviceProactively patrol the buildings and grounds of the complex and perform preliminary investigations involving safety and security events as necessary

Requirements

Current or former sworn law enforcement officer, U.S. military police, or federal law enforcement officerValid license to carry a firearmValid driver’s licenseConflict management and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSound judgement skills and ability to manage conflict and communicate effectively under pressureEffective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in stressful environmentsAbility to anticipate, analyze and identify opportunitiesTechnical aptitude with advanced computer skillsIf hired, you must successfully complete mandated training and coursework, pass the EMT exam, and maintain required EMT certification

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in criminal justice or related fieldCertified EMTCertified in CPR, AED, and FACEmergency response training/experience
