HDR is looking for an Owner’s Advisor Senior Project Manager to join our Water Business Group's Owner Advisor program. This individual will collaborate with and leverage HDR staff across the company along with teaming partners to develop solutions for our clients. Primary duties of this position include pursuing, planning, managing, and delivering all aspects of water Owner Advisor projects. On a day-to-day basis, they will also be expected to:

Provide project management leadership including planning, contract administration and management, technical consulting, design reviews, subcontract management and construction services.Collaborate with HDR operations leaders, market sector directors, project managers, commercial managers, and project teams to deliver world class quality in owner advisor services, project management services and construction services for projects and programs utilizing multiple delivery models.Actively engage with the local project teams and assist in Go/No-Go discussions, project risk assessments, SOQs, proposals, interviews, and negotiations as required.Participate in client relationship management, client presentations, conference presentations, and interviews.Assist Owners with negotiations with Engineering, Design-Build (DB) and Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) contractor partners.Participate in scope, schedule, and budget development for Owner Advisor projects. Provide DB and CMAR best practice guidance to pursuit and delivery teams.Mentor and develop other employees.Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or similar combination of relevant education and experience11 years of water/wastewater experience, including prior alternative delivery experienceStrong leadership skills and project management experience with remote teams is preferredUnderstand contractual risk and mitigation strategies in alternative delivery modelsPossess proven experience managing projects, client relationships, proposal development, and business developmentSelf-starter with excellent writing and communication skillsStrong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and conferencing platforms (MS Teams, etc.)Professional Engineer licensure is preferredWater Collaborative Delivery Council and/or DBIA involvement is preferredLocal candidates are preferredLI-SM1Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field 10 years related experience A minimum of 5 years of project management experience Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management softwareMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
