Position Summary:
Manager Owner’s Work (OW) – Owner’s work technical process, coordination design feasibility evaluation and execution. Person in this position owns overall responsibility of OW technical project(s) design, execution, completion and leads OW teams throughout the process&project. Also, ensures OW projects completion and flawless delivery according to the contracts and specifications. Close collaboration between internal and external stakeholders are key to successful outcome.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible of OW scope overall coordination, implementation, commissioning, relations between various teams and OW reporting. Manages OW team and monitors team performance Reports to AVP Portfolio Operations and Project Management Team Collaborates closely with site office teams, shipyard, TK sub-contractors, Miami office and various stakeholders and suppliers Responsible for coordinating and updating the Newbuilding guidelines as needed related to Owner’s work Coordinating OW within budgets. Approves under PM final approval budget investments, including any resources or consultants that is need for successful outcome. Related to Owners Work, oversees design, implementation and completion of various studies such as but not limited to wind comfort, noise and vibration, odor&fumes, pool studies, technical feasibility, TQP, TAP and risk analysis of the technical aspects of the project & systems. Participates in development of new projects Reviews material and equipment specifications and makes appropriate recommendations. On request, creates and reviews specifications, measurements and calculations relevant to ship design. Performs necessary analysis and assures proper documentation is prepared to support the build process. Participates in and supports ship structural optimization, including weight and stability Performs operational support and/or analysis for an assigned area. Enhances and develops existing and new processes at the project, site office and jointly with various NB Site offices Develops and prepares reports and records relating to assignments or projects. Stays current on relevant technical research and projects; seek information and evaluate new technology for use onboard new buildings. Participates in separately defined collaborative improvement projects with shipyard and their suppliers This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial responsibility to assure that Owners work is carried out within assigned budgets. Exercises effective project controls for scope, schedule, and cost performance, supporting project management at the development and coordination of project cost structure and budget management Works in close cooperation with Project Manager and project finance team Verify and sign -off technical change orders of the project on request Approves all expenses and payments made by direct reports
Key skills & experience required:

Detailed understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements for works
good understanding of shipbuilding processes and design
deep knowledge of solas, imo, classification rules and regulations, other marine standards
excellent skills in people management
Computer literate
fluency in english
Ability to endure high stress levels
Qualifications:
In-depth 10 years’ experience in the shipbuilding / maritime industry
experience in outfitting of cruise ships
extensive technical system understanding
detail understanding of the cruise ship building process
