To support our Specialized Services department, we are currently looking for a full-time talented Business Improvement Analyst with a distinct drive for execution and results. **A Day in the Life** Our Specialized Services Customer Care teams form the first point of contact in the order management field for specific OU's within Western Europe which require a customized service model. In close co-operation with our internal parties and stakeholders, we strive to ensure excellent quality, swift delivery and ultimately our patients' safety and health! Within this role as Business Process Improvement Analyst you will be a member of the Specialized Services management team and adding value to our customers and patients through continious improvement and offering customized services. You support strategic programs, and you are responsible for data, reporting and KPI related activities and building a continious improvement culture in the department. You will collaborate with our internal teams and operating units to drive transformation and harmonization of the processes, governance of existing processes, develop playbooks on new processes, and evolve processes as systems technology evolves to support our journey. You will participate and/or lead several projects aimed at operational excellence, data metrics, reporting & analyitics which are designed to evaluate and ensure the business policies, principles, and standards needs are met. You may act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. You are a self starter and as individual contributor you have the responsibility to deliver and/or manage projects assigned to you and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. You will design efficient processes to support business needs and create transparency about existing processes and changes. Furthermore, you are required to work from Heerlen office minimium 2 days a week, preferably 3 days and the other days you can work from home. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. + Delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills + Plans, performs and implements continious process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma). + Developing diagrams and evaluates existing processes. + Organizing, leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams. + Developing metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. + Collecting data (e.g. Celonis) to identify root cause of problems andinitiates improvements based on the data + Measuring performance against process requirements. + Providing consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance. + Providing presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. + Communicating with broad audience on various level in organization. + Performing cost and benefit analyses + Cooperating with internal teams and operating units + Supporting department on knowledge retention of standard process though creating Subject Matter Expert community + Investigating data sources to identify gaps in performance or existing processes + Acting as a change agent, helping the organization through their Continious Improvement journey + Seeking opportunities to raise quality standards and minimize lead time + Thinking outside of box, offer solutions to resolve complex situations **Must Haves** + Bachelor’s or master’s degree + +5 years’ experience in customer care/service, supply chain, order management or logistics + Hands-on mentality combined with strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to simplify complicated concepts + Fluent in English language in word and writing + Strong sense of responsibility, high flexibility, and dedication + Ability to develop enterprise end-to-end processes flows + Ability to extract key information needed for KPI driven analytics; + Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + Expertise in problem solving techniques to efficiently drive process improvements (Lean Sigma) + Experience working within a in a project-oriented team + Able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and effectively deal with stress + Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) + Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills + Ability to develop effective relationships with business user, technical staff, and executive management + Self starter & Independent approach + Eagerness to understand the situation of a collaboration partner and to learn about the processes in detail + Strict following agreed deadlines + Driven by goals and deadlines + Curiosity and attention to detail + Experience in using SAP **Nice to Haves** + Educated to degree level in Business or related field preferred + Experience with data collection (e.g. Celonis) **We Offer** At Medtronic, you will find a diverse team of innovators who bring their unique backgrounds and their individual life experiences to work every day.
