Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is the one of the largest Defence companies in Australia, and is now seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to conduct courseware development and instructional activities at RAAF Base Edinburgh SA for Boeing Defence Australia, supporting P-8A Poseidon Maintenance Training.
This position fulfils vital Instructional delivery tasks and courseware material developmental activities, in support of both the sustainment and emerging work for all P-8A Maintenance training requirements.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Aviation Maintenance (Mechanical) courseware developers and instructors, with experience in the following fields to complement our team:
B737NG Airframe SystemsCFM56 Power Plants and APU SystemsP-8A Poseidon - Unique Aircraft SystemsP-8A Poseidon - Sub-system architecture and safety proceduresDefence aviation maintenance processes and proceduresInstructor and Courseware Development skillsResponsibilities
Responsible for the conduct of all P-8A Aircraft Systems, Basic Core Maintenance, Safety Familiarisation and Engine Operator courses for ongoing sustainment activities, and coaching/mentoring/on-job training tasks for emerging P-8A fleet support.
Analysing lesson framework needs and designing maintenance training solutions and products to meet P-8A Aircraft capability requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of developed training programs.
Provide SME support to the development of courseware to meet Boeing Defence Australia and Defence Aviation Safety Regulatory (DASR) requirements, primarily for Maintenance, but also including Pilot and Mission Crew training materials in order to meet stipulated training specifications.
Conduct courseware continuous improvement tasks, with potential to develop and pilot new courses, innovative processes and technology, working collaboratively with our P-8A Platform stakeholders.
Experience/Qualifications
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical).
Experience on the P-8A or B737NG with a B1 MAML or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of Avionics Maintenance (B1) experience.
Desirable Requirements
Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116) or equivalent qualification is highly desired, but is not essential - BDA will support the right individual to achieve this qualification.
Previous P-8A experience as an instructor/mentor/supervisor
Eligibility
Applicants will need to be Australian Citizens and be able to meet security clearance and ITAR requirements.
