Your opportunity
This People & Culture Business Partner role embodies the mindset of a business leader and entrepreneur, operating flexibly within a networked structure to support multiple leadership areas. It involves close collaboration with Business Partners (Enterprise) and relevant Business Leaders to understand long-term business needs and strategic P&C priorities. By translating these insights into tailored P&C strategies, the role drives fit-for-purpose implementation across the assigned leadership areas.
The position leads and drives change initiatives, people streams, Work Product Teams (WPTs), and squads to embed and execute P&C strategies effectively. Additionally, it may contribute to WPTs, squads, or initiatives in other areas of the business based on broader organizational priorities.
As a trusted strategic partner and coach, this role is accountable for fostering VACC leadership, enhancing organizational design and effectiveness (including driving mindset, behavior, and ways-of-working transformations), building a diverse and inclusive work culture, and ensuring future talent and capability readiness.
Business Acumen
Aligns P&C strategies with business goals, delivering high-impact solutions in collaboration with partners and experts.
Leverages insights and metrics to address complex topics, recommend improvements and ensure ROI for P&C initiatives.
Tracks external trends to inform strategies and enhance decision-making.
Leadership
Acts as a coach and partner to foster VACC leadership and align culture with Roche’s framework.
Translates business vision into actionable initiatives, leading or supporting WPTs/squads for delivery.

P&C Insights & Innovation
Uses data and benchmarks to recommend innovative, strategic P&C solutions.

What you bringProven track record in diagnosing and addressing P&C needs, leading large-scale initiatives with a global impact, and leveraging cross-functional teams to drive business transformation for sustainable results. Extensive experience in driving transformation across multiple functions, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in emerging markets is a distinct advantage.
Proven leadership and coaching abilities, exemplified by fostering creativity, high self-awareness, and mentoring leaders at all levels to inspire growth and development.
Expertise in building inclusive, psychologically safe work environments, ensuring employees contribute meaningfully to Roche’s organizational goals and long-term strategic vision.
Skilled in leveraging data, technology, and effective communication to inform strategic decisions, promote collaboration, and align initiatives with Roche’s overarching goals.
