P&C HR Business Partner Expert for Engineering & Technology

What you'll do: 

As a People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner of the newly established P&C Business Partnering Team for Engineering & Technology you'll be a strategic partner to the executives, senior Managers, and respective leadership teams in Product Engineering (PE) and Technology & Innovation (T&I). 

You will play a vital role as a trusted partner and act as a strategic and sparring partner to the business, providing consulting, strategic insights, and guidance on all relevant P&C topics. 

 
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Provide outstanding strategic consulting to the Senior Leadership Team combined with high operational excellence to accelerate SAP’s Next Level of Transformation.  Drive the strategic priorities of the SAP People Agenda and ensure consistent execution within Business Area while influencing scalable solutions with P&C Services and P&C Practices (Global Total Rewards, Talent Discovery, Diversity & Inclusion etc.).   Translating business-specific needs towards P&C and vice versa while driving people and organizational initiatives to facilitate business transformation and cultural change.  Provide consulting, strategic insights and guidance on all relevant P&C topics and support development and implementation of global products and programs across all relevant P&C areas, like providing consulting, strategic insights, and guidance on all relevant HR topics. 

 

What you bring: 

Master’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field    Min of 7 years relevant experience in People & Culture/HR Business partner roles, ideally in a matrixed and international environment.  Good understanding of SAP’s Strategy, Business Model, and organizational set-up.   Solid consulting and negotiation skills for effective collaboration with high-level stakeholders.  Good project management skills to lead people workstreams in transformational business initiatives.   Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills to be able to translate business requirements into clear P&C requirements.    Excellent skills in analyzing and using P&C data to support decision making processes.    Proven experience in driving change and transformation initiatives with a big level business impact.  Strong strategic influencing skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.  Show strong cultural awareness and adaptability.     High integrity, with the confidence to handle sensitive matters and data.   Excellent interpersonal skills as well as communication and presentation skills (English verbal & written)

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 128,600 - 299,500 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
