a day in the life: what you’ll do
Partner with Leaders across all our European countries to accomplish business objectives through the application of thoughtful, intentional and innovative people support. Act as the expert delivering coaching in talent and performance management, employee relations, change management. Influence and inspire Leaders by championing the company’s core values.
· Partnership with Regional Managers to truly understand business & talent needs
· Lead the implementation of core HR cyclical activities, delivering training and partnering with managers on follow-through actions
· Independently guiding managers through Employee Relations cases and determining approaches / minding of precedents
· Leading implementation EMEA initiatives/projects relating to engagement and retention, change management as defined by the HR managers
· Manager coaching and advice on complex people matters (e.g. performance, absence, conduct)
· Supporting HR managers with org design and change management projects
· Holding business to account for upholding culture and behaviours
· Creation & simplication of policies and supporting application by the business (e.g. through coaching)
· Making recommendations on compensation offers
· Compiling and analysing people data metrics and providing recommendations
· Helping with payroll matters where necessary
Qualifications, skills & experience
· 5 – 8 years’ HR experience
· Ideally some experience as senior advisor / business partner
· Employment legislation understanding for European countries; Specifical experience in Italy, other European countries would be beneficial
· Fluent Italian and English speaker
· Experience leading Employee Relations cases, ideally in Italy , other European countries would be beneficial

Role Classification
Your role is classified as Hybrid under our global SSC Hybrid Workplace Policy. In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed at predominantly from Italy in Milan.
