Planning & Delivery (P&D) supports ASML’s growth trajectory, resolving challenges caused by strong growth in volume and complexity in our systems.
Within ASML, Planning & Delivery is an unbiased party, balancing demand and requests from customers against a stretched, however realistic view on our capability while also facilitating all good flows in a compliant and cost-effective way. This is done transparently and in close collaboration with all internal P&D interfaces, incl. all ASML factories worldwide.
Planning & Delivery (P&D) is a global sector consisting of four competences: 1) Strategy & Improvement, 2) Strategic Capacity Preparation, 3) Integral Demand & Supply and 4) Delivery.
Within the team of Planning & Delivery Taiwan we have the position Head of Deliver Taiwan.
Over the past many years, Linkou Factory has grown tremendously and has become pivotal in realizing ASML’s factory output, fulfill customer demand and drive field operations. Therefore, P&D wants to establish a local Planning & Delivery Head to represent Linkou and Tainan operations in their global blueprint. This will allow ASML to benefit from local P&D presence, while leveraging global P&D competence.
The Head of Deliver Taiwan will report in to the Head of Plan & Deliver Taiwan.
Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this job is to secure physical distribution network in close alignment with the internal customers while ensuring that goods within the network can be physically moved and stored in a compliant, timely and cost effective manner; meeting our internal customer needs and agreed upon performance targets, balancing cost and service for Freight & Warehousing.
You will have a crucial role interacting with local 3PL’s, ensuring agreed contracts conditions and performance KPI’s are met.
Locally, you will closely cooperate with Taiwan/Asia Strategic Sourcing & Procurement community and play pivotal role in strategic decisions; you will be a key representative of Delivery in Taiwan towards the Taiwan Manufacturing community; further you will closely cooperate with Global Warehousing Services, Global Freight, Customs and Goods Flow teams within Delivery. You will support Delivery initiatives driving down costs, reducing our CO2 footprint and preparing for flexibility required for the future.
You will work in matrix organization with reporting lines to central P&D.

Together with your partner Taiwan Head of Planning, as part of new P&D Taiwan, you understand and operationally execute demand dynamics towards your supplying parties, supporting your counterparts to meet the ASML growth path. In this position you will play an important role in the decision support process towards senior management. As people leader, you achieve organizational objectives through your team's coordinated achievements and an extensive stakeholder network.
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure compliant, efficient, cost effective physical material flow (storage, shipments, freight, customs) to support internal customer needs (Linkou and Tainan Factories, Customer Service organisations) in line with agreed performance.
Ensure compliant, efficient, cost effective physical service conversion and service set creation
3PL contract management on operational level
Manage returnable transport materials (RTM’s)
Ensure flexibility and readiness for future according to defined strategic priorities.
Understand the risks & opportunities for business plans and drive timely decision making with senior stakeholders
Support transformation projects, changes in logistics footprint
Secure flexibility of logistics operations (warehousing, freight) to meet future needs.
Education and experience
10+ years’ experience in the High Tech industry, having obtained extensive and in-depth understanding of logistics processes.
Experience in leading and building diverse teams (>5 people)
Experience in distribution
Experience with contract management of 3PL
Experience managing senior stakeholders
Experience in Transformation Management and Program Management.
Background within the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
