ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sells to accounts and increases sales revenue from existing and development of new accounts to meet strategic goals. Grows assigned sales territory by developing new accounts and increasing new account sales through cold calling, marketing, sales presentations and attending trade shows. Ensures excellent customer service by responding timely to inquiries and researching and resolving problems; serves as liaison with other departments in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues. Answers incoming calls; processes phone, email and fax orders; and provides excellent sales support for existing and potential new accounts. Proactively informs customers of prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. Negotiates and calculates price, discount, and shipping charges. Routes orders to departments for filling and follows up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Sets up new customers or potential accounts into computer system after screening and obtaining proper documentation. Obtains sales tax number and method of payment from new customers. Checks inventory and notifies inventory control department of orders that would deplete stock Assists customers in label design selection or creation of personalized label. Proofs labels for errors, compliancy, color and design. Liaison between customer and graphic arts during label creation process. Complies with safety and GMP requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree; or one to two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
REASONING ABILITY
Good problem solving skills required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent time management, attention to detail, follow through, decision-making, and organization skills. Must have excellent customer service skills, including professional demeanor and excellent listening skills. Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
