Manufacturing P&O (IR) Professional -

The scope of this position is primarily to handle Manufacturing P&O activities for the factory at Dahod belonging to SMO India additionally it includes extending support P&O advisory and partnering for the location. Responsible to actively drive engagement and Union matters, ensure government & Statutory requirements, Partnering with the Factory management on various local initiatives like - workforce planning, Employee Development, Productivity measures and Court matters. The role will also be responsible for the SMO wide activities of Employee Engagement & wellbeing, in collaboration with Health Management & Communication colleagues

·       You will be responsible for guiding managers and implementation of company people management policies and practices in the area of compensation & benefits, employee development, mutual feedback, succession planning and talent management.

Contributing to implement P&O processes and policies such as employee onboarding, employee life cycle management etc. Implementation of the local labor code by providing solutions to various employment related questions (performance improvements, disciplinary issues, labor code application) Handling and maintaining effective and harmonious relations with Trade Unions and Office bearers. Implement IR policies to ensure peace and healthy working environment. Take ownership and foster a cordial Industrial Relation. Responsible for collective bargaining and finalizing the wage structure for the workmen in consultation with the business and Industrial relations team ·       Liaison with Govt. Officials and statutory bodies for the appropriate licenses/ permissions. Advise managers on how to manage P&O incidents with labor implications·       Consulting managers on day-to-day basis and providing feedback on their people management strategies and practices.·       Ownership to ensure no non-compliance in the areas of Labour and Industrial laws Leading discussions, workshops and presentation sessions with the management team. Contributing to HR process implementation by bringing practical inputs and ideas to increase value of HR services and fulfill the business and employee needs Reporting data on regular and ad hoc basis to support the discussions with the business
