What does a Security Guard in Ingersoll do?

Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system 

Foot patrols

Report suspicious activity, hazards

Camera surveillance of access gates

Scan tags through the building

Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency  

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Ingersoll

A valid security guard license and first aid card 

Reliable transportation

2 years of security experience

Police foundation is considered an asset

Must have lived in Canada for straight 5 years

A police clearance check is required

Must also complete process for Controlled Goods

Have a clear criminal background 

Be eligible to work in Canada
