Your role and responsibilitiesAs our core processes evolve into a process-led organization, we are committed to driving simplification, standardization, compliance, and process quality across our RA business area (BA). To realize our operating model connected to being a process-led organization, we need a dedicated Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process and Compliance Lead to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement.The primary role of the P2P Process and Compliance Lead is to oversee the end-to-end P2P process across RA globally and to design its future features. This role involves driving overall governance, leading and supporting the implementation and monitoring of P2P projects/initiatives, and coordinating the RA P2P process performance in alignment with the RA P2P steering committee, ABB P2P Process Owner (GPO) and ABB P2P Finance Accounting Operations team.The role will act as a liaison between various stakeholders within the RA business area, ABB cross-BA and ABB group level: procurement, legal & integrity, sustainability, tax and treasury, information systems, internal controls; and support RA in its transition to a standard, compliant and automated P2P Process. You will be mainly accountable for:• Oversee and optimize the end-to-end P2P process, integrating risk management and license to operate requirements.• Develop and maintain RA P2P policies and procedures.• Represent RA P2P and collaborate with the P2P GPO organization, cross-BA counterparts, and other functions to address core/common P2P topics.• Analyze process data and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and enhanced efficiency.• Build the RA P2P internal network consisting of stakeholders in procurement and other functions.• Monitor key P2P process performance and compliance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, report on findings to management, and follow-up with stakeholders to achieve targets.• Act as a change agent within the BA by defining and delivering P2P change management initiatives across the BA and by being a personal role model of the expected behaviors.• Stay up-to-date with changes in P2P-related regulations, industry standards, and best practices, and ensure the company's processes are adjusted accordingly.
Qualifications for the roleMinimum 10 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, or compliance management role Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or a related field.In-depth knowledge of the P2P processes.Proficient in using SAP ERP system and data analysis tools.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt or Black Belt certified or strong data analytics skills and solid track record of delivered results.Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.Solid project management skills: can lead projects/initiatives independently and execute to expected budget and deliverables.Good at networking (finding the right people in the organization).Influencing skills: create appetite for simplifications and willingness to change.Communication skills: present and report activities in a clear and effective way, sensitive to communication steps related to all levels of stakeholders.Problem solving skills, systematic approach to a problem, root cause analysis, understanding consequences in a systemic manner.Preferred: certification in procurement, supply chain management or compliance.
