PA - FAST TRACK EMERGENCY MEDICINE
St. Joseph Healthcare, a Covenant Health member, is currently seeking a Physician Assistant for its Emergency Department Fast Track initiative at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor, Maine. Ideal candidates will have strong urgent care/fast track experience and a desire to work in a high-throughput/low acuity setting adjacent to the St. Joseph ED. Nurse Practitioner applicants also considered, must be highly qualified with prior urgent care/fast track experience and ability to see patients of all ages. This role is part of a new program with initial plans for 4 weekday shifts per week during peak arrival hours (roughly 10a-7p), a total of 36 hours weekly. This is an expansion of our current ED space and does not involve ED shifts, although there is room for cross-training for appropriately experienced candidates.
