Qualis Corporation is seeking a Project Manager (PM) with broad leadership experience in a range training environment, project/customer/personnel management, business development, and business analytics. The PM will have expertise at creating strategic plans, designing, and implementing organizational requirements, and enabling methods that build employee and organizational value to achieve desired goals. The PM is focused on contract delivery, managing profit and loss, and workforce development within the PACAF Second Island Chain region. Additionally, the PM will possess an extraordinary ability of assessing the environment and creating organizational quickness and a growth mindset to capitalize on future opportunities in today’s changing marketplace. The PM will maintain a positive, professional, and empathetic work environment for the Qualis team as well as establish and maintain proactive and productive relationship with our customers. The PM will have the ability to communicate and facilitate across internal and external organizational boundaries. Coordinate with the appropriate government lead to accomplish delivery and service requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement and facilitate time, travel, and leave synchronization. The PM shall meet the geographic customer's needs, ensuring standard of delivery exceeds expectations, is on time, and properly delivered/archived as required. This position will be based at Andersen AFB, Guam.
Responsibilities
• Work with government and contract team members to effectively communicate status of project schedule, budget, period of performance and associated risks.
• Manages the projects in accordance with existing contracts and company policies, procedures, and department instructions.
• Drives the performance of the projects including scope, financial performance, risks, contract delivery results, schedule, and Customer satisfaction to deliver successful results.
• Responsible for overseeing cost, schedule, and technical performance of multiple sites with large geographic separation to focus on providing training for US and partner-nation aviators.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers.
• Provide professional services to military, commercial, and internal customers.
• Perform analysis of DOD and industry engineering standards and certification requirements.
• Work directly with engineering staff to responsible for supporting projects.
• Drafts technical reports, papers, and presentations.
• Develops, collects, sorts and analyze of various qualitative and quantitative data.
• Works independently with little supervision.
• Flexibility to perform other project support duties as required by Program Manager.
• This position is a supervisory role and will include supervisory duties.
• Effectively communicates programmatic expectations and goals to leadership and subordinates.
• Proven experience developing and retaining customer intimacy.
• Executes defined Business Line goals and business and financial plans.
• Communicates business performance at the end of each accounting period.
• Ensures all appropriate personnel actions including evaluations, performance improvements and separations are conducted.
• Support business development activities outside of this program.
• Up to 30% travel required, throughout multiple countries.
