What will you do?• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.• Strong knowlege about Incoterms and all topics associated to Outboubd and Indbound.• Ensure compliance with shipping processes for domestic and international shipment.• Maintains shipping staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees (WC & BC).• Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols.• Respond timely and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries.• Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demand.• Ensures shipping staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.• Monitor shipping workflow indicators and respond to exceptions.• Troubleshooting complex inventory and shipping errors. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.• Guide and manage the process of packing and shipping product to customers.• Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams.• Conduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and HR policies.
What will you need to succeed?• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.• +5 years of leadership experience in a high volume shipping operation.• Experience in areas such as Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related manufacturing functions .• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.• English communications skills, both written and verbal.• Experience with warehouse management systems.• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point & Excel.• Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of shipping equipment.• Experience with SAP WM module.
