Package Designer
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Package Designer in the industry, located in New Jersey, 08817-2068, United States. As a Package Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing packaging solutions, considering functionality and aesthetics, as well as maintaining the integrity of the brand. Responsibilities: • Develop innovative package designs that are visually appealing and functional. • Collaborate with the team to understand and determine the scope of a project. • Understand the product specifications and work accordingly to create eye-catching and functional designs. • Create and present design concepts to team members and stakeholders. • Use design software to create models and samples of new packaging designs. • Test design concepts to ensure they are cost-effective, practical, and meet the product requirements. • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to understand the constraints of the production process. • Keep abreast of market trends and competitor designs. • Ensure final designs meet the required quality standards before sending them for production. • Revise designs as per feedback and ensure timely completion of projects. 02720-0013092707 Requirements • Must possess a degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Package Designer or similar role. • Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite. • Strong understanding of color, texture, and pattern. • Ability to translate client needs and branding strategies into design strategies. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to work well in a team setting. • Knowledgeable about the latest trends in package design. • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. • Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy in executing detailed instructions. • Knowledge of printing processes and understanding of materials. • Proficiency in 3D design software is a plus. • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and creativity. • Experience in Interaction Design is desirable.
