Our client, a leading logistics company specializing in courier and package delivery, is seeking a skilled Package Handler to join their team in Sumner, WA. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate package handling and encoding within their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Scan labels using hand or foot-activated barcode or optical character readers.Enter partial address information for labels that cannot be scanned.Maintain the encoding station, including initial setup, label changes, and breakdown at the end of the shift.Report production or quality issues to the Supervisor, Quality Control, and/or Lead.Be flexible to reassign to alternate operational areas based on business needs.Perform additional duties as required, which may be revised or supplemented as needed.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent training and/or related experience preferred.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.Ability to operate and maintain barcode and optical character readers.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hourMonday to Friday6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
