Packaged Equipment Engineer

Project engineer role managing specification, procurement, and installation support for power-generation process equipment.

Job Requirements:

General understanding of process equipment used in power generation (e.g., pumps, filters, heat exchangers, piping, instrumentation).

Experience working in a project-based engineering environment.

Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and supplier documentation.

Ability to follow projects through the full life cycle from specification to installation support.

Willingness to travel to project sites less than 10% of the time.

Preferred Skills:

EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project background.

Experience specifying and purchasing process equipment for industrial or power-generation applications.

Familiarity with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and related documentation.

Experience reviewing supplier drawings and technical submittals.

Experience with HTRI or similar thermal design/verification tools.

Job Responsibilities:

Translate customer requirements into detailed equipment specifications for process equipment such as pumps, filters, heat exchangers, piping, and instrumentation.

Issue specifications to suppliers, coordinate RFQs, and evaluate supplier proposals to select appropriate equipment.

Manage and track the equipment purchase process throughout the project life cycle.

Review supplier drawings and documentation for technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Coordinate delivery of equipment to project sites and support logistics as needed.

Provide technical support during onsite installation and commissioning of equipment, addressing equipment-related issues within project scope.



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
