Hexcel is currently seeking someone for our Packaging, Shipping & Receiving team at our Kent, WA, USA location.

Summary pay range:  $19.50 – $28.07 hourly wage rate.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Maintain inventory accuracy through good inventory control disciplines.Ensuring that all paperwork is accurate and that all shipping documents have been signed for.   Maintain inventory transaction through AX2012 system to accurately reflect inventory moves, receipts, shipments, kit issues, etc. Drive company vehicles to deliver and pick up parts and tools at both customer and vendor locations. Build wood crates and pallets in our “box shop” to package parts and tools for shipment. Use the order picker to stock & pull parts. Must be able to load and unload trucks that come into the loading dock using forklift.  Also use the forklift for moving large crates, tools and parts around the factory. Fill forklift propane tanks as needed.Regularly exhibit customer service-oriented approach, and responds to requests with a sense of urgency. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately.
 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.Minimum one year of experience maintaining inventory using ERP/MRP system. Experience tracking inventory with AX2012 a plus.Must have valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Experience driving and operating a large box truck or company vehicle to deliver and pick up parts and tools at both customer and vendor locations. Must be able to work with chemicals, sealants, paints and cleaners on a regular basis. Must possess basic computer skills. Must be able to work all shifts. A post-offer drug test and physical is required.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Employees are often required to lift large, awkward tools that weigh up to 35 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
