**Job Title: Packaging Associate** **Job Description** As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the process of bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder. This role involves building boxes, labeling, wrapping, filling small to medium-sized pouches of mushroom powder, and preparing completed boxes for shipment. You will perform inspections of products and boxes before shipment and assist in the paperwork process, tracking counts and orders. **Responsibilities** + Lift 20-25lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs + Assist in bagging certified 100% organic whole food mushroom powder + Build boxes, label, and wrap products + Fill small to medium-sized pouches of mushroom powder + Fill boxes with labeled and sealed pouches following work orders + Prepare completed boxes for shipment + Perform inspection of products and boxes before shipment + Assist in paperwork process, tracking counts and orders **Essential Skills** + Production line experience + Ability to lift boxes + Food production knowledge + Packaging and labeling skills + Ability to cross-train **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3-6 months of production experience preferred but open to entry-level candidates + Ability to lift 20lbs+, occasionally up to 50lbs **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.50/hr.
