About the role
The Packaging Capability Manager oversees the critical functions relating to packaging compliance and on time delivery to production of all requirements.
Packaging Capability Development:
+ Identify and implement advanced packaging technologies and processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
+ Lead the development and evaluation of new packaging materials, designs, and technologies.
+ Ensure that packaging capabilities align with the company’s strategic goals and market requirements.
Project Management:
+ Manage packaging projects from concept through to implementation, including timeline development, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Process Optimization:
+ Analyse existing packaging processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
+ Oversee the development and implementation of product packaging specifications (PPS).
+ Ensure that packaging solutions meet industry regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
+ Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams on packaging-related matters.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
+ Manage relationships with packaging suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective solutions.
Innovation and Sustainability:
+ Drive packaging innovation by exploring and implementing new materials, designs, and technologies.
Documentation and Reporting:
+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of trials, packaging projects, processes, and standards.
About You
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
+ 3+ years’ experience in Quality/Packaging engineering focused role.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in wine production environment is a plus
+ Microsoft Suite proficient
+ Sharepoint (intermediate)
+ Power BI a plus
+ Flexible, independent, and forward thinking with a willingness to learn and engage in all aspects of the business.
+ Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
+ Ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Exceptionally organized, efficient and detail-oriented.
+ Ability to maintain a positive work environment, contribute to group morale and reflect TWE growth behaviors

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $102,000 to $118,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our St Helena location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future
