The Headlines:   

In the role of Process Optimization Manager-Packaging working in Fort Worth, TX you will be part of the Fort Worth Brewery Packaging Department.  You will be accountable for World Class Supply Chain Processes related to Daily Management System health and consistency.  You will partner with Line Process Leaders to focus on improvements related to direction setting cycles; equipment center lines; cleaning, inspection and lubrication processes; changeovers; process line optimization; and line hygiene standards. This role also supports Quality Assurance and department data management.

 

This position reports to Packaging Manager and works closely with the Unit Manager and Asset Care Manager.

 

 

The Responsibilities: 

Owns process standards and data management for the department . This includes data analysis, document standards, health checks, training and coaching of others to build capability in these areas.  Drives to anchor clear, concise, and effective standards that deliver process reliability, optimization, capability and control. Works directly with Line Process Leads, Equipment Owner’s and Autonomous Maintenance Models to effect progression of standards and optimization efforts across the department. Allen Bradley PLC controls programming (or similar) and automation skills to assist with executing optimization changes. Loss Elimination - analyzes data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities across the department and lines, leveraged to align with highest priority impacts. Facilitates use of problem solving tools to eliminate top stops and process failures, and drive Mean Time Between Stops improvement Develop Capability - trains and coaches others on problem solving tools & techniques, Changeovers & Centerline execution. Owns coaching for these areas during planned stops.  Locally owns the Process Line Optimization System and is responsible for building capability across all levels of Packaging within the Site.  Must lead as an advocate for World Class Supply Chain processes and liaise beyond the department to bring collaborative team approaches to clearly identified objectives in the area of process excellence via standards and optimization tools. Responsible for the escalation of systemic / strategic issues / recommendations and effective organizational communications that are clear, concise, and lead towards High Performance Organizational standards.

Strong understanding of Packaging operations, systems, and processes Talent and Aptitude related to Packaging Line Optimization and design parameters Strong analytical skills and well-versed presentation assimilation and delivery skills You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome   You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments   You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
