We are seeking a Packaging Engineer for our Mauldin, SC office to help us achieve our goals. About the Role: As a Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing packaging solutions that meet the needs of our products and customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that packaging designs are optimized for manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and product specifications. Your end goal will be to create packaging solutions that are both functional and visually appealing, while also meeting cost and sustainability targets. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field + 3+ years of experience in packaging design and development + Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics + Experience with product engineering and packaging lines + Ability to read and interpret product specifications Preferred Qualifications: + Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field + Experience with package design software + Knowledge of sustainable packaging solutions + Experience with production line optimization Responsibilities: + Design and develop packaging solutions that meet product and customer requirements + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize packaging designs for manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and product specifications + Conduct testing and analysis to ensure packaging solutions meet performance and quality standards + Manage packaging projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met + Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology Skills: As a Packaging Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing Process, Packaging Design, Product Specifications, Product Engineering, Packaging Lines, Supply Chain, and Package Design to design and develop packaging solutions that meet the needs of our products and customers. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology to ensure that our packaging solutions are innovative and effective. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage packaging projects from concept to implementation will be critical to your success in this role.
