**Description and Requirements**
The Shock/Vibration & Packaging Engineer (S/V&Pkg Engineer) serves as a subject matter expert and a key liaison between Product Assurance, Mechanical Hardware, and Supply Chain teams. This role is responsible for coordinating resources to optimize product validation processes and ensure the efficient execution of testing plans. Drawing on deep expertise in transportation packaging conditions, the S/V&Pkg Engineer develops protective packaging solutions that enhance the structural integrity of servers. Key competencies include effective communication, project management, issue escalation, independent learning, packaging dynamics, and presentation skills.
1. Implement Shock&Vibration validation testing. (to operating Shock Table, Vibration Table, Package Drop Machine relative equipment, etc…).
2. Planning the Test Plan that documents the configuration, test cases, and expected behavior.
3. Validation test support includes material preparation, system setup, schedule tracking.
4. Debug the experiment interference factors, leading to correct experiment results.
5. Compile reports for the validation testing.
6. Packaging design and evaluate protection performances.
7. Packaging SOP/WI maintenance and up-to-date.
• Capable to evaluate mechanical structure by FEA tools (Abaqus, LS-Dyna and Hyperworks), and offering the design risk assessment report.
This role presents an opportunity for an accomplished candidate with a capacity to learn quickly and exercise good judgment to gain in-depth experience driving growth in Packaging development, mechanical structure analysis and troubleshooting capability.
