Summary

This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.

Key Responsibilities Read daily order sheet to be able to select and move the correct tote of product 

Move finished pallets of product from the roasting room to the warehouse or loading dock 

Moves empty totes to be cleaned 

Handles inventory receiving transactions 

Adheres to all company policies and safety rules 

Assist other packaging employees within their job duties including using chemicals and water to clean and sanitize packaging equipment, palletizing and break down empty totes 

Perform other duties as assigned 

Typical Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Relevant Experience Minimum 12 months experience operating stand up forklifts in a processing or cold storage environment 

Ability to use a computer and hand held inventory device 

Manifesting experience in a warehouse environment is preferred 

Other Information

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment 

Ability to work day and night shifts, weekends and overtime 

Ability to work in 25 degree temperature.
