SUMMARY
The Lead Trainer will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our manufacturing processing personnel. This position requires a deep understanding of processing processes, machinery, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to create engaging and effective training modules. The Packaging Lead Trainer shift schedule will be working a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Statement of Job
Ensures the competency of processing related operators and support employees by training under minimal supervision.Maintain trainer competency to provide effective trainingWork area to be assigned by Training Manager or Training SupervisorMajor Duties
Provides hands-on training sessions to ensure that employees can operate machinery safely and efficiently.Creates training plan as per training program requirements and communicates them to corresponding leadership and stakeholders.Monitors the performance of trainee and provide constructive feedback for improvement.Prepares trainee employees for certification and annual re-certification in their positions through the on-the-job and classroom training. Facilitates training sessions for new manufacturing processing employees to familiarize them with company processes, safety protocols, and processing procedures.Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of training outlines, documentation, SOP based training materials, data, tools, evaluation / assessment materials and processes.Coordination, monitoring, and assessment of all operator OJT (On-the-Job Training) occurring in their assigned area. Provides guidance to trainee and operator trainers in a manner assuring maximum development and utilization of their talents through the continuous improvement concept. Develops training aids (troubleshooting tools) and tracks progress to ensure consistency and trainee/operator trainer commitment.Creates engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises.Meets trainer competencies to demonstrate good training practices and ensure effective training delivery.Fulfills documentation requirements required by the training program for the trainee, on-the-job trainer, and the overall program.Promotes job safety and train necessary processing employees in LOTO.Supports and delivers trainings on various initiatives for example: GMP, safety and new hire orientation.May be required to work and/or training during plant shutdowns. Supports with continuous improvement programs such as MDI. Conducts safety trainings to include but not limited to powered industrial vehicles. Prepare reports on training metrics such as completion rate and feedback scores. Schedule and coordinate training, plus maintain records associated with training.

Special Requirements
Requires a high degree of mental skill and a considerable degree of initiative and independence.Prefer a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Packaging Technology, Education) or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in manufacturing processing, with a strong understanding of fryer processes and machinery.Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a manufacturing setting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the operation.Requires considerable care to avoid major product and equipment damage along with major injury to self and others.Requires visual alertness and exposure to loud noise.Requires good decision-making skills.Requires a high degree of physical effort and occasionally working in unnatural and awkward positions.Flexibility to work on shift with new employees during their training times.
