Packaging Operator 2nd Shift            
$20/Hr + $1 shift premium

6pm-6am rotating schedule

 

The Packaging Operator is responsible for operating packaging equipment, ensuring products are properly packaged and labeled, and maintaining a clean and efficient packaging line.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate packaging machinery (e.g., filling, sealing, labeling machines) to package products. Ensure accurate labeling of products, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and other necessary information. Monitor packaging materials (boxes, bottles, labels, etc.), and order more as needed to avoid production delays. Keep track of packaging line speed and performance to meet production goals. Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or product issues in the packaging process. Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring the work area is clean and safe, and operating machinery correctly. Ensure packaging is compliant with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP) and company policies.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred. Familiarity with operating packaging equipment and machinery. Ability to inspect products for quality and ensure they meet packaging standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and operate machinery. Ability to troubleshoot packaging issues quickly and effectively. Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits:
