Job Description

The Packaging Operator loads cartons and carriers onto magazines or erectors and sees that machines and line conveyors continue to operate, monitors automatic bulk or carton palletizer and depalletizer and verifies the quality of build loads.

The Packaging Operator will:

Ensure the robots are stocked with dunnage to continue running and ensure load build quality is correct.Unjam palletizer by stopping it, removing affected material, and then restarting palletizer.Observe cartons, dunnage and/or bottles for obvious defects and removes as needed.Remove wraps, straps, cut bands on incoming dunnage prior to loading in robots.Check and keep automatic glue dispenser operating and filled with glue.

The Packaging Operator should have:

Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime, as required.Previous industrial manufacturing experience. 

 

QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED required.Previous industrial manufacturing experience
