Our client, a leader in the chemical packaging industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, a willingness to learn, and good organizational abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Packaging Operator
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**What's the Job?**
+ Stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products per approved packing specifications.
+ Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.
+ Follow all quality and safety procedures while filling, capping, and labeling chemical products.
+ Support quality systems and train others while working in a team setting.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety equipment requirements.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5-6 years of experience in a chemical or packaging environment.
+ Basic math skills and basic computer literacy.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
+ Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs with equipment.
+ GED or High School Diploma required.
