**Job Title: Packaging Operator** **Job Description** As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for operating the packaging machine, performing quality checks, and documenting production processes. You will work in a warm environment and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day. You will own the entire production line assigned to you and receive training from a tenured machine operator during the initial weeks. You will also be trained on operating pallet jacks and other machinery. **Responsibilities** + Operate the packaging machine efficiently. + Perform quality checks on boxes and packaging. + Maintain cleanliness in the designated work area and adhere to GMP standards. + Adjust packaging boxes of various types and sizes. + Document productivity, completion, and orders accurately. **Essential Skills** + At least one year of machine operating experience. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Basic troubleshooting skills. + Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred. + Ability to keep up with the fast pace of production. + Experience with various industrial machines such as case packers, wrapping machines, and sealing machines. **Why Work Here?** We take pride in our family-like environment, offering numerous engagement activities and opportunities for employee feedback. Steel-toe shoes are required. The work schedule includes rotating days off, with candidates working at least two weekends per month. Shifts available are 1st shift (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM), 2nd shift (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), and 3rd shift (9:30 PM - 6:00 AM). Candidates must be open to working all days of the week, with 5-10 hours of overtime per week. A shift differential is provided for 2nd and 3rd shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of American Canyon, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
