Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Packaging Operator
**Location:** St. Louis, MO
**What's the Job?**
+ Stage, fill, cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized products per approved packaging specifications.
+ Utilize electronic balances and semi-automated equipment to fill liquids or powders accurately.
+ Document all packaging processes in compliance with FDA, ISO, and GMP procedures.
+ Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety protocols and Good Documentation Practices.
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives and support quality systems.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or GED equivalent.
+ At least 3 months of experience in chemical weighing, laboratory, filling, or packaging.
+ Familiarity with ISO/GMP regulated environments is preferred.
+ Basic math skills, including metrics and conversions.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of standing and repetitive movements.
