**What to expect**
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Product Specialist based at our North York Office working under Supply Chain and Technical & Production. Supporting Packaging Engineers and Food Scientists, this role is responsible for sustainability reporting while leading key initiatives and driving digital transformation.
**A day in the life as** **a Packaging Product Specialist**
+ Sustainability Reporting: Manage, analyze, Packaging Materials sustainability data in global platforms. Update global systems & Key Performance Indicators monthly.
+ Manage Sustainability Project Status: Plan, organize, facilitate monthly check-ins with sustainability project leads to obtain project status. Challenge, question, & escalate delays.
+ Lead Projects:Support Operations in reducing waste and improving efficiency by leading cross functional teams through projects using a lean six sigma approach with a lens of End to End impacts.
+ Support with Digital Tools: Support time-wasting activities by implementing digital solutions, advocate for digital opportunities in Packaging and Product Development, and stay updated with Nestlé's technological suites.
+ Training and Networking: Stay updated on trainings and digital tool updates, and connect with other experts both internally and externally.
+ Training Material: Document ways of working and build robust and digital onboarding training plans.
**What will make you successful**
As a successful candidate, you will need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused & really enjoy working in a highly energetic & exciting environment. You will also have:
+ Education: University or College Degree in Engineering, Packaging, Food Science, or equivalent
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in packaging/product development or digital transformation role, preferably in the food and beverage industry or a related field.
+ Proficient in business process analysis and process improvement methodologies, enabling effective identification and implementation of automation solutions.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify automation opportunities and design efficient solutions.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration and influencing stakeholders.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Problem Solving mindset: Lean Six Sigma principles, Basic Problem Solving
+ Competence in packaging technology, product development
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, PowerBI, Word, Co-Pilot), artificial intelligence LLM, SAP
