For Takeda Ireland Ltd, we are looking for a
Packaging Technologist
for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position at our Grange Castle production site in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland.
As a Packaging Technologist, you will perform packaging and inspection operations in the P2 Secondary Packaging area, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Your tasks in detail:
Safety & Environment: Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and comply with EHS regulations. Engage in safety initiatives and foster a safety-conscious culture.5S & Maintenance: Maintain a high standard of workplace organization following the 5S program. Ensure equipment is calibrated.Documentation & Compliance: Generate and follow SOPs and Manufacturing Batch Records. Complete required SOPs, training, and assessments promptly.Flexibility & Learning: Adapt to daily tasks and be willing to learn and apply new tools and techniques.KPI Achievement: Meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and participate in Continuous Improvement Programs. Apply Lean Tools like SMED, RCA, Kaizen, FMEA, and 5S.Team Involvement: Engage in cross-functional training and performance dialogues. Promote Takeda-ism values.Production & Stock: Assemble and package products according to schedule and GMP. Maintain adequate stock levels.Collaboration: Work with engineering to resolve downtime issues and address processing/packaging problems with other departments.Inspection & Clearance: Conduct visual inspections and perform area clearances before and after batches.Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, especially related to leave, employment, and benefits. Perform other duties as directed by management.Your profile:
Leaving Certificate qualification or equivalent.Minimum of 1-year previous experience in a Pharmaceutical Environment (preferably cGMP).Basic proficiency with PCs.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Open to learning and applying new tools and techniques.Ability to take and follow clear directions.Collaborative and capable of working well in a team environment.Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Excellent documentation practices with keen attention to detail.Outstanding attendance record and punctuality.Good in written and spoken EnglishWhat you can look forward to with us:
