The Packer is responsible for checking proper weight of finished bags and packs into appropriate carton.

Core Responsibilities

Forms and stacks cartons.

Checks individual bags for product weight and packs into box.

Guides box through tape machine.

Labels boxes and palletizes finished product.

Sift product for possible foreign material. Must pass an eye exam.

Inspect package seals for possible leakers.

Performs other duties as assigned.

The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.

Must be able to regularly lift 35 pounds.

Vision requirement should be 20/40 for near and far vision.
