Essential Duties and Responsibilities This position requires the ability to lift heavy parts and components. Obtains merchandise from shelves to fill orders for shop orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities. Places items in containers and wraps so that the invoice is visible. Receives “wrap and pack” orders as follows: Writes the company invoice number on the box. Compares identifying information and quantities on the packing slip against the purchase order, counts items for verification, and indicates any discrepancies. Indicates sales order number on the shipping ticket and attaches it to the box or sack. Organize purchased and manufactured parts in designated area Maintain desired stock levels Folds boxes for shrink wrapping. Packages orders for out-of-town shipments. Performs other duties as designated by the Supervisor
