Perform duties in a safe manner and report all observed safety hazards to management. Act as a role model for Safety on the shift. Participate in safety programs by reporting Unsafe Conditions, Unsafe Acts and Close Calls; enter Near Miss data and Observations into Global Data Center database (GDC) + Review order specifications for the order running on the line to ensure accuracy and report any deviation from order requirements to line operator + Take rolls off the spindle, check roll edge quality, and properly stack rolls onto skid + Load and align cores properly onto the spindle + Perform quality checks as trained to make sure product meets order specifications + Perform housekeeping procedures as assigned + Wrap and package skids according to order specifications + Ensure materials are set up for the order and for incoming personnel (boxes, skids, cores, or other needed material) + Wear all personal protective equipment + Other tasks as assigned by Management, Supervisor or Lead **Qualifications** + Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments + Ability to wear all required PPE (steel toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, and other PPE as required) + Ability to lift up to 65lbs + Ability to read and understand work orders + Knowledge in navigating different computer programs + Ability to communicate with other employees We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
