NTRODUCTION This position assists with the movement of work in process (WIP) and finished product through press and finishing. Assists other operators by loading WIP into manufacturing machines, unloading, and packing finished product, making boxes, and loading skids. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Catch product after the printing, affixing, or shrink wrap processes * Verify sequence numbers are correct * Assemble empty boxes as needed * Verify box count and package product per job ticket * Assist Operators in locating product * Understand and follow Quality Control requirements for each job * Ensure product data integrity * Maintains clean and orderly workspace * Follows product flow instructions * Performs other job duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to change * Able to work well in a team environment * Demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures * Ability to communicate effectively with others. * Must be able to maintain good attendance * Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods * Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation EDUCATION * High school diploma preferred Smurfit Westrock (NYSE:SW) is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions.
