Job Description

The individual in this position is responsible for unloading cases from conveyors and stacking them onto pallets according to carton specifications. This dynamic role requires the employee to perform a variety of duties assigned by management, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in the workplace.

ResponsibilitiesRetrieve packed cases from conveyors and stack them onto pallets according to customer specifications throughout the work shift.Wrap the top of loaded pallets to prevent higher boxes from falling when the load is moved.Pull loaded skids to the area where the skid is retrieved by a forklift (approximately 70 feet).Construct cardboard tops to cover boxes that do not have folding flaps.Essential Skills6+ months of production experience.6+ months of repetitive work experience.Ability to lift 75 lbs.General labor skills.Material handling and unloading experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse/production environment.Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, twisting (re-piling loads), kneeling, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and visual acuity (near and far).Capability to lift packed cases (weighing up to 50 lbs.) from rollers (3 feet high), carry them approximately 5 feet to the pallet, and stack them up to 7 feet high.Lifting empty pallets (approximately 50 lbs.) from a stack of pallets and sliding them to the end of the conveyor approximately once every hour.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.61 - $19.11
