**Job Title: Packer** **Job Description** The packer will pick produce from the conveyor belt and pack into bags/boxes based on size, label, color, ripeness, and overall quality. Following various packing procedures, the packer will ensure the work area remains clean. **Responsibilities** + Pick produce from conveyor belt + Pack produce into bags/boxes based on size, label, color, ripeness, and overall quality + Follow various packing procedures + Maintain cleanliness of the work area **Work Environment** The work environment is very cold at 35°F degrees. The job is fast-paced and involves working in close quarters with other packers, which can lead to high tensions. Adherence to GMP and food safety behavior is required. No piercings, jewelry, or excessive makeup is allowed. PPE (hair net, smock, gloves) is provided. Monolingual (Spanish) is acceptable. Standard hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with the option for lots of overtime as production picks up. The position is seasonal until September with a possibility of extension. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
