Purpose Statement:   To package, label, skid, and inspect product correctly for                                        shipping in a timely manner.

 

Accurately package product as determined by supervisor (includes labeling, packing, computer entries)Stack or arrange packaged product in the proper manner on the correct skidMaintain machinery in proper working order by filling proper supplies, make adjustments as needed, identify potential problems and get help as neededKeep machine and work area cleanMaintain acceptable rateEnsure product being packed meets specifications through inspection (correct computer set-up, right label on boxes/right number of rolls in box/put on the right skid)Follow rules to ensure work is performed in a safe mannerMaintain knowledge of QMS and ISO StandardsMaintain a GUNG-HO attitude in support of the Berry Plastics vision statement, goals, and company cultureFollow and encourage GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)Ensure that safety is a priority by following all safety proceduresTrain and mentor new hires and temporary employees
