Packing (PW1) Bands and Clamps 1st shift
Role Responsibilities:
Gather relevant blueprints; build sheets and necessary parts and hardware for assemblyUse mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to assemble productsTest equipment when necessaryOperation of Overhead Cranes and lifting devicesMaterial Handling and Transportation of ProductPerform quality inspection and fill out necessary paperwork for recordPackage and crate assembled products and load for shipmentComplies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen eventsSuccessfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)Minimum Qualifications:
Material Handling with forklifts, cranes, carts, etc.Display mechanical aptitudeQuality consciousAbility to read blueprints, and understand verbal and written instructionsPerform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a steady paced work environmentKey Words:
