Role and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the SEA Packaging planning for HHP, Tablet, and Accessories.  This position will work with the Global Operations Center, Logistics, SCM, and Carrier Account teams within SEA to meet RTF schedules accordingly.

Role & Responsibilities

Develops, leads, and manages a team that provides daily, weekly, and monthly packaging plans while managing results for the SEA Packaging team year-around

Guides and suggests weekly production volumes considering in-house capacity, material availability, HQ strategy, sales plans, finished goods inventory level, and delivery lead time to production planners

Continuously reviews production plans to develop a level-off plan for supporting stable packaging operations

Works in conjunction with operational managers to schedule in the most effective strategies to drive overall operational efficiencies and on-time production

Organizes regular “Level Off” meetings with internal departments to share HQ and demand fulfilment requirements to develop solutions to clear current issues from a supply point of view

Provides daily/weekly/monthly production analysis to compare forecasts to model capacities

Manages packaging vendor(s) and KPI meetings to track key performance metrics, identify trends, and propose corrective actions to protect the production plan

Track vendor strategic plans to improve productivity and production efficiency

Evaluates team member performance and leads staff/cross trainings to increase departmental efficiencies and promote continuous improvement

Develop a positive, proactive work environment which empowers staff and promotes safety, teamwork, trust, and quality

Supports the development, monitoring, and achievement of MBOs for the team

Manages production planning master-data in-house systems such as FP, GSCM, ERP, and SPES

Leads and/or participates in project management teams such as working with internal and overseas support for system improvements in support of RTF activities

Responsible for analyzing packaging cost data to determine the most efficient use of local resources

Skills and Qualifications

4+ years of relevant experience

Capability to perform multiple tasks well in a limited time in a fast-paced environment

Ability to solve complex issues by utilizing strong communication skills to communicate with various teams within SEA

The position requires the skill to build relationships and work closely with the Global Operations Center (GOC at HQ in Korea), as well as, Logistics, SCM, and the Carrier Account Teams within SEA to meet RTF for SEA HHP, Tablet, and Accessory products

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Bi-lingual (fluent in Korean)

In-depth knowledge and experiences in sales or SCM related experiences

Experience in manufacturing production setting or experiences in similar field
