Qualifications:
Have three (3) years of managerial experience doing work of a similar nature.Have demonstrated experience in directing work assignments for other contractor staff, communication skills and interpersonal skills for effective peer interactions.Be able to be cross trained to cover other assigned areas, as needed.Have a high school diploma or GED.Core Duties:
Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify contentSelection of appropriate type and size of containerInserting enclosures in containerUsing excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damageClosing and sealing containerApplying labels or entering identifying data on containerOperates various types of packaging equipmentMust be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipmentMust be able to respond to alarms and alertsMaintain work area in clean and orderly mannerSupervisory tasks include day to day administration of assigned operational area (production floor) and to coordinate activities with other productions areas.Orient new contract technicians and assist with the evaluating performance.Work Schedule:
