Job Description

Supports end-users across the ministry who utilize imaging systems and related applications, as well as leading and contributing to new projects. Maintains imaging systems environment, to include knowledge documentation, system/hardware documentation, and utilizes internal departments applications and processes to manage the work.

               

Essential Job Functions

Administers and supports PACS, CVIS PACS, and related technologies (e.g., voice recognition, advanced visualization systems, image sharing technologies, interfaces etc.).

Contributes to or performs as the project lead for implementation and support of medical imaging applications, to include leading conference calls & meetings, task tracking, support document creation, and status communication as directed.

Provides support for systems, processes, and customers and responds in a timely manner to service requests.

Works with Information & Technology (I&T) staff, biomed, and vendor support to manage resolution of medical imaging application incidents and requests.

Provides hands-on and remote support for healthcare facilities, to include hospitals, clinics, and physician practices as required. Participates in after-hours on-call rotation as assigned.

Handles customer questions and concerns, communicates well with customers, handles service problems politely & efficiently, and assists with service recovery.

Works with I&T and clinical teams to actively promote and implement standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization plans for medical imaging and related applications.

Compiles and provides data as requested for clinical and business reporting to facilitate clinical and business decisions.

Collaborates with other team members, customers, and management. Builds strong relationships with core customer base for medical imaging applications.

Prioritizes tasks and resources to meet organizational and departmental goals.

Proficient in the applications/tools used within the organization for Project Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Time Reporting, Communications, and other tools as provided.

Information Technology

Licensure/Certification Preferred:

CompTIA A+, Network+, CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional), ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
